Rented a big pontoon boat with a slide from Patoka Lake Marina with some relatives. Everybody had a great time. The water was in the upper 80's in temperature. I was talking to several people at the marina and they said the water will stay very comfortable to swim in all the way into October.
Our boat was very very nice. We enjoyed the slide and the boat was very roomy.

It is nice to have a big boat with shade so the small ones can take a nap if needed.
Next year we are going to rent a houseboat
I plan on coming back in September. The water will still be very warm.
