2 day summer 2009 Patoka Lake Trip
We really love going to Patoka Lake in the summer. It is really easy to plan a trip there by going to www.PatokaLakeIndiana.com.
We arrived at the campground on Saturday Afternoon and left at Noon on Tuesday....July 25-28. We had a great time!
On Sunday we got to the beach at about Noon. The beach was clean and there were quite a few people there although it was not crowded.
We built a big sandcastle and it was a big hit with the kids playing on the beach.
On Monday we rented a boat from www.PatokaLakeMarina.com and we cruised the lake. We found a map of most of the osprey and eagles nests and we worked on visiting them and swimming and stuff. CHECK OUT THE MAP!
